Amy Butler Angell

Hi!   I’m so glad we’re spending a few moments together.  My name is Amy Butler Angell (she, her, hers) and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Colorado.  Oftentimes, when you’re seeking a therapist- especially if it’s your first time reaching out- you are inundated with profiles and credentials and information.  It’s a lot!

 

The last thing I want you to feel is overwhelmed as you browse my website.  So I’ll keep it brief:  I have been a therapist in Colorado since 2015.  I gained independent licensure (LPC) in 2019.  My areas of focus include recovery from sexual trauma, depression, anxiety, PTSD, life transitions, and the LGBTQ+ experience.  I am currently taking new clients (18 and up) and I am paneled with several insurance companies.  I offer a free, 15-minute consultation phone call to determine whether we feel cohesive, and whether you’re interested in moving forward with the therapeutic relationship.  If it doesn’t feel right to you, or you can’t see yourself sharing and trusting in me, then the relationship ends there and you can keep browsing other providers.  It’s quick and simple, I promise!
